All-State Audition Material Changes

  • October 16 - SENIOR vocal major scales clarified: Soprano - key of G, Alto - key of D, Tenor - key of F and Bass - key of Bb.
  • October 2 - JUNIOR and SENIOR vocal rehearsal/audition tracks added.
  • September 2 - JUNIOR and SENIOR jazz auditions; for improv portion of auditon, JUNIOR wind players will improv over TWO (not three) choruses while SENIOR wind players will improv over THREE (not two) choruses.
  • June 28 - JUNIOR Cello Piece: "Sonata No. 1 in e minor, Op. 38, 1st Mvt." is no longer available on IMSLP; new publisher is International, edited by F. G. Jansen.
  • June 20 - SENIOR Alto Sax: "Sonata Op. 19" by Creston is NOT this year's audition piece; "Sonata in g minor" by Eccles is the 2025/26 audition piece.
  • June 17 - SENIOR Clarinet removed "Mvts. 1 & V" from "Adagio e Tarantella"; also removed Southern as a publisher.
  • June 16 - SENIOR Jazz Band Bass and Drum piece should be "Great Love" rather than "Somewhere".
  • June 15 - ALL 2025/26 All-State audiiton material posted.
