Vocal Sight Singing/Tonal Memory
Some examples of sight singing and tonal memory; this should give students a pretty good idea of what to expect at the audition. Junior All-State Chorus repertoire can be either/both SATB or 3-part mixed, depending on the conductor's program choices. Therefore, it should be understood that tenors and basses should be able to read both treble and bass clefs. For the audition, the sight-reading example for Junior tenors and basses will be notated in bass clef.
- The Junior Vocal audition piece is not available in the public domain and needs to be purchased.
- SENIOR - How Lovely Is Thy Dwelling Place, Johannes Brahms (sung in English)
