Invitational Honors Festival

On Sunday, May 3, 2026 @ 4:00 p.m., the Fifth Annual RIMEA Invitational Honors Festival Concert will take place at Exeter-West Greenwich Jr/Sr HS. The concert is free (with a $5 suggested donation) and is open to the public.

The Invitational Honors Band (IHB) and Invitation Honors Orchestra (IHO) are programs designed to provide a high-quality musical experience for middle-school students across the state. The long-term goal for the IHF is to enroll participants from every middle school in Rhode Island.

The Rhode Island Music Education Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit professional organization with over 300 active and retired music educators, private-lesson teachers and collegiate members serving students in public, private, and charter schools across the state.
